Green Tea Lattè
Sawada Coffee, Chicago IL
Brussels, Belgium. A traditional Belgian waffle from a street vendor. Served with whipped cream, berries and nutella.
Sweet Potato Fries
Amsterdam Roest. One thing the Dutch are serious about are their fries. This is a sweet potato version with a mayo aioli dip on the side. Super good!
Traditional drink from Barcelona, Spain. They make it a lot thicker than we do in America--it's almost like you're drinking thick melted chocolate.
Can't have chocolate caliente without a side of churros! Also purchased from Barcelona, Spain.
Smoked Salmon Sandwich
Kampen, the Netherlands. Kampen is a cute little port city in the Netherlands that my moms side originated from. I decided to take a solo trip to visit my roots and came across a small restaurant that was serving all sorts of fish. The sandwich tasted super fresh, although the salmon was pretty salty. Overall a great lunch for 2 euro.
Utrecht, the Netherlands. In the Netherlands they always serve you some sort of cookie with an order of coffee. This time we got gingerbread cookies with our mochas.
